Avolta is uniquely positioned to give back to the communities in North America in which it operates by combating the cycle of poverty at the local level. It is Journey For Good Foundation’s mission to fight poverty with food, shelter, education, and workforce development opportunities by directing our charitable investments based on our pillars of giving:

Relieve hunger and promote nutritional wellness

Combat homelessness through access to safe housing, furnishings, clothing, and stable employment

Encourage the next generation through access to education and training

Provide opportunity for financial stability through hospitality industry training and placement

Honor our veterans and their families by supporting programs that meet their needs for food, shelter, medical care, and job training and placement

Letter from the Journey For Good Foundation President

I am thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the evolution of our Foundation. As many of you know, HMSHost Foundation has been dedicated to fighting poverty and strengthening the communities we serve for nearly a decade. Today, I am delighted to share with you that we have embarked on a new chapter under a new name: Journey For Good Foundation.

This change represents not only a new name but also a reaffirmation of our commitment to creating meaningful change in the world. Journey For Good Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the charitable arm of Avolta in North America, and was established to unite the collective efforts of HMSHost, Hudson, and Dufry to support the communities where we work, live and play. Our mission remains steadfast ― to fight poverty with food, shelter, education, and workforce development opportunities.

Supporting our communities is at the heart of everything we do. We could not be prouder of our associates as they reach out every day to the communities in which we operate, through food donations, relief efforts, volunteerism, and other such activities. Through their dedication and passion, our associates have become a supportive force leading positive change for those in need.

But we recognize that Avolta, as a leading global travel experience player spanning more than 2,000 locations in over 110 travel venues across North America, can do more. By bringing together travelers, team members, landlords, and partners, we can take these initiatives even further. Journey For Good Foundation was established to do just that.

We are eager to support the community we share with you by donating funds and resources, and volunteering time toward making a strong impact to not only fight poverty, but to prevent it. We aim to provide this support through our own corporate contributions, food donations, fundraising such as Round Up programs, awareness activities, and other traveler engagement across our travel convenience, specialty retail, food and beverage, and duty free stores in North America. We recognize there are countless ways to give back and are excited to take our contributions to the next level to drive change as Journey For Good Foundation.
